What to do after retirement?

 Lazy old duffer
I'm retiring in a few months. Unfortunately my 401K took a hit and we didn't quite save as much as we expected. I'd hate to go back to work for someone else at low pay and lousy hours. So I'm thinking of starting business of my own but I guess I need some motivation to get going. Has anyone read a good book on what to do after retirement?

Zilinski is great. I'd also suggest some of the old books by Paul & Sarah Edwards. Many of these books are out of print but can be still found on eBay, Amazon, and used business bookstores. You can't beat the books by Ernie Zilinski. He wrote the Joy of Not Working which talks about the stupidity of working hard all your life just so you can retire (and they drop dead).
